It's from 1981, $10k. He passed away about three years ago and we settled the estate etc. but this policy kind of got forgotten. I tried briefly to look it up but I couldn't even find where the company was or who owned it now. I only remembered it when we were moving some files. It's just $10k sitting there.

My wife was the exec on the estate and we still have one joint account open with the estate trust. Can I give this to some collections company and split the cash or whatever?
