(1) secure a place to live for a few weeks until you can find a more permanent place. Friends, family, or short term rental.
(2) get a small storage unit for your stuff.
(3) Once you've secured housing and a place for your stuff, break the news. Once she knows the deal, GTFO and don't look back.
(4) Leave her the apartment. If you're on the lease, just tell the landlord to reach out if she's late on payment.
If you own the house, that's more complicated but still leave and figure it out later.
(5) Take only what you need, give her everything else. You can buy more stupid garbage to fill your place with, but you can't buy time.
(6) You're free. |
