Should I switch night job to day job?

I then occasionally work extra weeks days 10am-6pm abd its so much easier. I could just work all my weeks 10am-6pm or maybe 8am-6pm and make a little less. But afraid it's easy to get fired when working days. At night my job is unfireable. Because most people don't even last 1 year. If I worked 10am-6pm I could go for a swim before and after work, so that's better. But I only work 122night shifts per year. And I tend to be able to run a treadmill(i.e. exercise) before my night shift. But when I do my 10am-6pm shift I actually get to go out for a 20min run middle of workday because the work easier. If I switched to 7on/14off evening, something like 1pm-10pm, I'd get paid 30% less for that work (pay would be 24% less but 1099 instead of w2). But I would still do the same # of extra day shifts to make total of 122 + 65 day shifts. So overall pay would be cut by about 20%. I cannot switch jobs for a paycut. I almost switched to evening job but they turned out to be cheats. I.e. I started the new job without giving notice and they turned out to suck and my current job increased my pay by 15%. I know if I tried to work more night shifts, i.e. 7on/7off that would be fucked up. But people can easily work more shifts days, i.e. mo-fr 10am-6pm 200shifts per year. But thats 50% more work instead of my 122.. also most people at my current job are staying 5+ years. If the job sucked they would've quit.
