WHAT'S UP, DOC? Back to the Future’s ‘Doc’ Christopher Lloyd, 86, goes unnoticed as he catches a cab in NYC 40 years after hit film

Fans were reduced to tears after film's leads, Christopher and Michael J. Fox reunited after 37 years

BACK to the Future star Christopher Lloyd went unnoticed as he strolled through New York City - 40 years after the iconic film.

The actor, who played for his role as Doc Brown in the US trilogy, was pictured during the rare outing this week.

Rather than jumping into his DeLorean, Christopher, now 86, was seen getting into the back of a yellow taxi.

The star appeared to go about his business without being recognised by fans.

Christoper went for a casual look in a navy blue jacket, a matching zip up jumper, grey trousers and trainers.

The legendary star was seen looking into the distance as he waited for his pick-up.

In 2022 fans were reduced to tears after film's leads, Christopher and Michael J. Fox reunited after 37 years.

The pair - who played Marty McFly and Dr Emmett 'Doc' Brown - appeared at a ComicCon event in New York and talked about their “instant chemistry” on set.

They also shared an emotional hug in front of an audience of devoted fans.

The film, which saw teenager Marty go back in time to 1955 and accidentally scupper his own parents’ romance, spawned two sequels, an animated series and a stage musical.
