The economic data showing a crashing economy hasn't hit yet. Who knows - maybe our economy is more resilient than I think, but I do know that right now basically the whole world is thinking "how can we screw the US economically?" I would be surprised if that doesn't have some pretty severe economic impacts here. Even just ordinary travel and product boycotts, which are clearly happening, are a significant hit over the course of a year.
