Date: August 26th, 2026 12:43 PM Author: fighting police squad Nah. Nope. RW Twitter went all in on the lack of Female Accountability. Matt Walsh, Megyn Kelly, Nick Fuentes. Even Thoughtful Moderates like gunneratttt have come down on the prosecution theory that Lindsay is a horrible bitch who couldn't deal with the stress of parenting and decided to wax her kids before killing herself out of pure malice.
Cons could have easily used this platform to skewer the retarded libshit paint by numbers shrinks and their pill pushing medication industry overlords but no, they had to go all in on durrr mental health isn't real and you can't just kill your kids because you don't feel like being a mom. Women evading accountability yet again!
If anyone had bothered to watch the trial they would know that the pros is getting their ass beat and that the jury is up to their eyeballs in reasonable doubt. |

|
Date: August 26th, 2026 11:33 PM Author: bronze titillating degenerate old irish cottage Many people don't understand the very high bar an insanity defense requires. It doesn't require that they're "severely mentally ill." It requires that they don't know right from wrong. To date I've seen a lot of arguments that she was mentally ill but not a lot of support for the argument that she was so mentally ill that she didn't understand that she was actually killing her children or that it was wrong. Date: August 26th, 2026 11:38 PM Author: fighting police squad Definitely helps. Karen Read drove over her boyfriend to det and got acquitted because a state trooper on the case texted his buddy that he was scrolling through her phone looking for noodz and that undermined the whole thing. So ya a bunch of blue pilled housewives are not going to convict because "this could have happened to me!"

Date: August 26th, 2026 1:34 PM Author: fighting police squad There are like 72 witnesses here. There's mountains of testimony. No one witness is going to flip everything on their own. Nurse Jolatta was the best of the shrink witnesses for the state. She refuted key pieces of Dr. Tufts' testimony. Yesterday the state's witness said he agreed with the defense theory of the case. Today we get a witness saying the state's theory downplays what happened. You can't be serious that the jury will forget the totality of the three week trial and just focus on one guy some people might find credible. Ljl if that's your understanding of jury trials. Taylor Schabusiness smoked meth and chopped her friend's head off and put it in a bucket, pleaded insanity, and was found guilty. I was sympathetic to this defendant and was mildly surprised she was convicted. The amount of evidence there is that Lindsay Clancy was psychotic is 70,000k times stronger than in the Schabusiness case. This type of case is extremely rare and if lots of women start pleading insanity it's not going to fly. You have to have Special Circumstances. I watched nearly every day of Lindsay Clancy trial and I think 80/20 she's found NGBI. Small chance the jury simply hates her and finds her reprehensible on every level. But mountains of reasonable doubt at this point. |

Are you saying that if she believed it was good to kill her kids she's not guilty? Because that's not true. She doesn't have to subjectively believe her actions were wrong, she just needs to appreciate it's wrongful or illegal. Otherwise the law would only apply to people who agree with it. Date: August 26th, 2026 10:21 PM Author: fighting police squad In Massachusetts you get two options. Either not understanding the wrongfulness of your actions OR be unable to conform your actions to the law.
The defense expert of Dahmer and Unabomber trial fame admitted she knew what she was doing was wrong but that due to psychotic command hallucinations she was unable to comport herself in accordance to the law.
Altruistic suicide was brought up by this defense witness as the motive. It was later offered by the prosecution witness, at which point the two sides converged on motive but differed on criminal responsibility. |

Date: August 26th, 2026 10:33 PM Author: fighting police squad I think those two merge under mass law. Understanding wrongfulness and illegality are the same. And either way the defense has admitted she fails that test. They are going for inability to conform their actions to the law. You can know what you're doing is illegal but you're under a spell and can't stop it. You may think that's nuts but that's what they're arguing. That she had no ability to stop it from happening. She told the shrink that she felt like she was watching a movie and that someone else was doing it, not her. Take it or leave it. 1) WRONGFULNESS
OR
2) CRIMINALITY AND CONFORM TO THE LAW
There are not the same, hence why it's peppered with "either" and "or." The ability to conform element just means that even if you know it's illegal you're not responsible if you have an irrestible impulse and can't conform.
I don't understand what you mean by merge anyway. Experts can have different opinions but the result can be the same. If half the jury believed she knew it was wrong and half believed she didn't but knew it was illegal and could control herself, she's responsible. Wtf is the significance of "merger?" |

In fact there has been virtually no consistency among the witnesses as to whom exactly they were testifying for.
