Ecno is overrated. Many faggots who major in econ won't pass the initial GPA screening, and won't qualify for grad school because they don't have the math major. (You need a bachelor's in math and 3.7+ GPA for good econ grad programs.)
You'll have the widest options: going into grad schools in math, cs, physics, engineering, social and natural sciences (even poli sci and soc are mathematized now), humanities, med/law schools, MPA, MBA,etc. etc. You can also fall back on teaching math at URM high schools or community colleges ...
Anyway, don't be too down on not making HYPSMC. Most of those faggots don't get jobs upon graduation anyway (only 30% of Harvard grads found jobs this year and probably because they have connections/family biz, etc.). If I were you, I would focus on where I want to live after college, do you like the beaches, the mountainside, do you want a college town teeming with young pussy, etc. etc. |
