One day it just wouldn't turn on at all after working fine. For that I had to pay a copayment of like $300, but the repair would have been like $2500 without applecare. They basically sent me an entirely new laptop since they had to replace so much of the insides. I guess that one is my fault though.
The other thing was recently--one day both the keyboard and trackpad simultaneously stopped working. Never got a good explanation as to why but they repaired it for free. Glad I renewed applecare since this was another repair that would have been in the thousands of dollars according to the receipt they gave me. |
