“The Hinojosa Lineage: "Hinojosa" is widely recognized by genealogists as a common surname adopted by or belonging to Sephardic Jews during this period. Many of the early colonial families who established towns along the Rio Grande Valley—where the Hinojosa family has deep generational roots—were "Crypto-Jews" who overtly practiced Catholicism but covertly maintained Jewish traditions across generations”

Even if the paternal lineage of Hinojosa was crypto jewish (never heard this claim personally) how much of her DNA do you think is connected to this? The Hinojosas have been in Mexico for hundreds of years by now.
None of these crypto Jews know they are Jewish anymore. They are just Mexican shitlibs. Hinojosa actually seems a lot better than the New Mexico guvunah

Wow you are spot on about the last name being crypto Jewish. I guess this is one of the first ones we can confirm. People make this claim about most last names and it is usually BS.
“As a girl Magda Hinojosa de los Reyes, daughter of two Assemblies of God ministers in Tampico, Mexico, knew there was something unusual about her family’s religious practices.
Women and men sat apart during services. Children were not baptized but were given names, often of Hebrew origin, in dedication services. Hinojosa’s grandfather slaughtered cattle by cutting the jugular, draining the blood and examining some organs.
As Hinojosa grew up, she began to wonder about these practices, which seemed to her to be more Jewish than Christian. But she kept her suspicions to herself until she took a sociology course and learned about Marranos, Spanish Jews who were forcibly converted to Christianity during the Inquisition, often practicing Judaism in secret.”

All northern Mexicans are somewhere between 1-15% Sephardic Jewish.
History time: 1492, Jews are kicked out of Spain. Many become crypto Jews / pretend to be Catholics and flee to the new world. Many settled around Mexico. Still shows up in their dna. The city of Monterrey which is one of the biggest in all of northern Mexico was explicitly founded by crypto jews.
Me and Gina might be something like 10th cousins.
I doubt she is more than 5% Sephardic Jewish, but a lot of Mexicans do have that look.
Italians / Jews / Levantines all have this look.
Sopapilla = Mexican crypto Jewish bread.
Lots of candles and other shit involved with this weird blend of Sephardic Jewish Mexican Catholicism.
El Paso, Texas is probably the most crypto Jewish Mexican town in America
