Damn. Rutgers and vandy are pretty easy, but I would have thought NC State won the ACC at some point. Dunno who the 4th is then. I think Kentucky had some decent teams in the 40s or 50s.

The Peach Bowl officially became a major bowl with the introduction of the College Football Playoff in the 2014 season. It was selected as one of the six "New Year's Six" bowls.
Before 2014, it was a respected upper-tier bowl, especially after establishing ACC-SEC matchups in the 1990s, but it was never part of the Bowl Championship Series. Its first CFP semifinal was played after the 2016 season.

Retard? they won 2. and if there was a tournament back then carrol would have at least 4. also the schools you listed have all had plenty of good seasons in the modern age. now, lets talk about: northwestern, minnesota, purdue, illinois, indiana. and this is before adding rutgers and maryland.
every pac 10 team had a chance at the rose bowl. the top and bottom constantly flipped. big ten had doormats.
