I am the OP but I had given up on bumping this.
You'd think that over a year after release, he'd have taken down the first major boss. Nope, he's as far from that as he is from transitioning a halfway reasonable woman from "first date" to "transient fling." The only thing to be posted from now until the end of time on both milestones is "no movement."

July 4, 2026: Doodikoff declares his independence from Margit, takes the back trail around Stormveil Castle to Liurnia, entirely avoiding the fight
lmao j/k, Doodikoff is too pathetic to even run away from Margit as his 12 y/o self watches his adult self, tears welling up, sobbing "why doesn't he fight back?"
Therefore, several years later, we remain at . . . NO MOVEMENT.

There's an alternate timeline where doodikoff became an elden ring speed runner and found a hot hunny streaming his 3 hour RL1 run on twitch instead of watching the Bachelor and Collecting Hardware. It's not too late

If you’ve never played an RPG like this before, Elden Ring is intentionally difficult, and Margit, the Fell Omen is designed to teach you that you don’t have to fight every boss immediately.
* Average first-time Souls player: 10–30 attempts (1–4 hours spread over one or more sessions).
* Brand-new player: Anywhere from 20+ attempts to several evenings is completely normal.
Many new players actually leave Margit, explore for 5–15 hours, level up, upgrade their weapon to around +3 to +5, and then come back. They often beat him in just a few tries after that.

Where does it put Doodikoff in percentile terms if he's still filtered by Margit over FOUR YEARS LATER? He has to be like 12 standard deviations below the mean, right? Like bottom 0.000000001%.
