Date: September 7th, 2026 3:37 PM Author: laughsome athletic conference holy shit i remember this so vividly. we never had a computer in my house growing up but my dad got one just after i graduated from hs, summer 1996. i can still smell the brand new computer plastic smell and hear windows booting up, and i remember that weezer video (i thought weezer was lame then bc i was all into hardcore music and hated anything mainstream, but i actually did like that song).
i used to troll the hardcore punk chat rooms on AOL. when i first got AOL, i had a couple all nighters the first week fucking around on thre talking to people. it was absolutely amazing to me.
i got my account cancelled the next summer for making the screen name NEGROESSUCK and harassing people. my dad had to call to get it turned back on lol. |
