I just paid it directly to the IRS using an online form the IRS set up to make payment fast and easy. I had to fill out a lot of information to prevent fraudulent actors from messing with the system. meanwhile, if you are "owed" a refund because you have 3 kids and the EITC they will have it direct deposited within 3 hours of filing and send you a thank you card in the mail for completing your 1040ez (which was actually completed by your social worker through indigent tax preparation services paid for by your taxes at $300/hr) |
