Yes; but, I had to turn down the Nobel prize because of the demands of my modeling career. I was modeling in Milan at the time and couldn't break away to Stockholm.

Actually, that's not far from the truth -- I used to take text-books with me to acting jobs/sets during undergrad. Lots of people in that industry who are also in college do.

Who the fuck ever told you people that I was some big-time model?
I do lots of small-time, primarily local gigs, because obviously, I am short, voluptuous and nowhere near beautiful enough to be a international/top model.Get a clue, folks.

Whatever are you talking about? I am the Most Beautiful Model in the World. My Jay Leno chin, bulbous nose and coarse horse hair are all the rage right now in the industry.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:03 AM Author: orange parlor
Hilarious. Seriously, though, my nose is normal --not pretty, not ugly. I'm well aware of my unnatractive features, and my nose is not really problematic --my chin and under-eyes are.My hair gets lots of compliments and is thick and healthy.

In addition to my career in modeling, acting, radio show hosting, and defense contracting, I also export my nostril hair to toilet brush manufacturers.

Sigh.
No one bruised me, I simply wasn't wearing any makeup. This is me, in my natural state. I look a bit like Kate Moss, don't you think? I think Calvin Klein should put me in those au naturale photo shoots of his.

All of these idiots are wrong. I had an accident down at the linear accelerater (slipped and fell while deep in thought) when i was trying to resolve the heisenberg uncertainty principle

OK. That doesn't impact me either way, and is actually pretty close to how I'd describe myself, too. Some people think I'm unattractive, others think I'm very attractive. I'm just content to be pleased with myself and have enough people think I'm attractive enough to get steady tv/film work.
I'm no beauty, but I'm a normally attractive girl with some very good and some sub-par features.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:37 AM Author: orange parlor
I never talk about that. I have said I'm attractive or above-average, both of which correlate with about a 7 or 8. Find me a thread where I claim to be beautiful or gorgeous.Answer: You won't find one, because no such thread exists.

You are really actually very scarey looking, you were kind of cute when you had some flesh on your bones, but the recent pics look like skeltor... not pretty.
Though Im sure you could grace the cover of crackwhore magazine.

Actually, I want to insult you because you are annoying. And Im really being honest. The pics I have seen recently remind me of the hollow eyed stares of Nazi death camp survivors.

I don't have a booming modeling career, disphit: I get steady Spanish-language acting work , have a decent radio show, and get small-time modeling gigs. Quit the bullshit, because I never claimed to be anything else. HTH

Yes. That's how I earn a living.I filmed and produced a completely unspectacular import-car tv show last night in both English and Spanish.Obviously, it's not gonna make me famous, or anything, but it pays really well, and I get national tv exposure in both languages as a show host, interviewer, and producer. Despite the fact that the content is inane, it's solid experience and a nice paycheck.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:07 AM Author: orange parlor
I do, but it's a per-project-payment gig, so it's not steady income, unless the project volume increases substantially. It's a sweet gig, though, in that I have a mangerial title to put on my resume and I get a nifty blackberry/cell phone/wireless internet device.

FYI: My AM radio show is owned by a very prestigious man who also sells fabulous used cars on the side. He pays me $9 an hour to talk on his fantastic, popular, booming AM radio show. Please show some respect.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:10 AM Author: orange parlor
Nobody pays me anything, as I OWN the show. My earnings come directly from sponsors.
Yeah, the owner of THE STATION is a megalomaniac multi-millionaire of a senile Italian dude who also owns a huge dealership in town and has whole wings of Loyola Hospital named after him.

So you net about $50 per month during December and lose money for the other 11 months. You're talking about a vanity project, not a career and not even a job.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:24 AM Author: orange parlor
No, we npay $500/month for the air-time, and sell ads for $150/30 secs and average 7-8 mins of ads an hour(one hour per week).
It's not difficult to sell ads if you have decent show in a large market --- every small business can afford our rates, as they're exceedingly reasonable for ashow that's heard all-over Chicago-land.
No, it's not a career, nor a job --It's a wonderful hobby that gets me some great exposure and experience, while generating decent income. Not too shabby, IMO.

You're talking about revenues of $10000 per month. I assume your production costs are negligible; so, you're claiming a net income of over $100000 per year from your radio show. I don't believe you.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:39 AM Author: orange parlor
I have a co-host, moron,so we split that.
If you don't believe me, why don't you look into the radio industry yourself. Find a small-medium sized am station that sells time blocks, create a show proposal, and go for it. If you have any talent/skill/pizazz, you, too can have this.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:46 AM Author: orange parlor
Research it, then. Try it. It's not difficult --You've just gotta generate new show ideas weekly, have a lot of initiative in doing research, getting good guests, selling ads, promoting the show, on top of having a good radio voice, and being fluid and articulate. I invest an average of 15-20 hrs/week on this.
I'm telling you -- it requires effort, ingenuity, entrepeneuralism and a little talent, but you can make a solid chunk of change at this.I strongly suggest you try it if you're at all good at speaking/interviewing.

My AM radio show is quite prestigious. Though I am not listed in the official list of the AM "featured stars," as Boondocks pointed out, I am still quite prestigious. A sleazy italian used car dealer gave me the spot if I promised him a free pass to my strip club performance for him and his buddies.
Date: August 9th, 2004 1:20 AM Author: orange parlor
Sigh.
Our show is not huge, and not even listed on that site(because it's a new, once-weekly show). I NEVER claimed it was a huge show --just that it's growing, doing well in terms of sponsorships, and that we get pretty decent guests.
We'll be streaming on-line and have our own site up next month,t hough, so out-of-town folk can listen to it if they want. We're alao talking to syndicators,as well as WLS and WGN> The show may end up being a complete bust or a huge success; either way, I'm enjoying it immensely.

Do you have genital warts? You seem to be unduly fascinated by them.
I'll tecah you a little bit about STD prevention, however, since you seem to be so worried.
I don't have std's because:
I'm in a 4-year monogamous relationship. I'm not a stupid white chick or dumb cracker college kid who goes to bars to "hook up" with people. I have sex with one partner, for years at a time, hence, no disease.

Why Julia, this is the first time I have brought them up? Speaking of which... 4 year monogamous relationship yet you are up quite often at all hours of the night....
Youre a modern 21st Century gurl, I assume you are letting your man bang other women or something? Or does he just have no stamina?

I don't AT ALL. I hate the silly mentality of many AMERICAN WHITES, but I also dislike the ghetto mentaloty of some urban blacks, etc. My bf is white,a dn I have lots of white friends. I just like decent, intelligent people.

I'm no racist -- I speak the truth. If you've ever been to any college bar, you know what I'm saying is true. I apologize if this describes your behavior, but it's not my fault if you're a promiscuous "hook-up" bar type. HTH

I used my URM status to get into NYU. I lost the acceptance letter though; somehow it got stuck up the ass of my 80 year old boyfriend with tapered leg khakis.
