Also it was the Lincoln cathedral in the 1300s that finally surpassed it.

i've never listened to joe rogan talk about egypt or the pyramids or anything historical, really. i can't remember the last time i listened to joe rogan.

my point is that OP shouldn't be surprised that so much fascination still surrounds the great pyramid because the pyramid is still shrouded in a lot of mystery. there are still people who dedicate their entire lives to studying the pyramid, just as there are scholars who spend their entire lives studying the mona lisa.

Not sure why N/S orientation is a big deal. All you need to do is put a stick in the ground and mark its shadow. Also, a pyramid’s shape is a natural ramp, which is the only way a Bronze Age civilization could have built a structure that tall. It also took them 20 years, not a couple of construction seasons. Now had they built a vertical structure of equal height, THAT would be mysterious.

the fact that it’s possible to climb the pyramid is a dead giveaway as to how it was built. the shape is a natural ramp. we’re not talking about a vertical structure here.

Dude you clearly do not know much about the pyramids. Obviously ramps were used in the building process. There are multiple theories of how ramps were employed. There are also multiple theories about how all the materials were transported. I’m talking details. Those are still fascinating. Not just HURR DURR THERE WUZ RAMPZ.

WE WUZ RAMPZ.

around 6:30 in that video-- "the fact is that no one knows for sure how they did this [built the pyramid]."

my point is that there is continued intrigue due to the details of the pyramid's construction being a lingering mystery.

i've heard theories involving ramps that spiral around the entire pyramid.

not sure what you're trying to argue here.

We’re still discovering new architectural elements inside the pyramid. This was earlier this month

Like it’s obviously being sensationalized a bit but my point is that there’s still a lot left to analyze and there will always be a bit of mystery to the structure. The fact that it’s 4,000 years old and still intact is in itself a reason for intrigue https://youtu.be/yLTMQ9re10k

It’s one of those things that is actually more impressive in person than you would expect just based on numbers.
